Database
- Storage for:
Candidate details, CVs (from database or filesystem), skills, and
interviews.
- Skills are
categorised within 6 configurable key areas, with limitless choices,
graded according to experience and position on front sheet. Automatic
skills extraction from CV.
- Process CV in MS
Word, Wordpad, or any suitable word processor.
- Workflow assistance
for CV processing and routing to relevant consultants.
- Full notes support
for internal use and “front-sheet” generation.
- CVs and front-sheets
of selected candidates emailed to interested client.
- Support to process
and register emailed CVs from any Internet job board.
Candidate
Search Capabilities
- List all candidates
matching a given skill set, availability date, salary requirements,
region, lead source, contractor or permanent. Matches ranked by score.
- Search skills either
from keyword list or Boolean expressions.
- Search skills in
database, keywords in free-text, or unregistered documents in file-system.
- When viewing CV
keywords from search are highlight.
- List all vacancies
matching a given candidate.
- List all (new)
candidates matching the skills of any live vacancy, identifying “hot”
candidates.
- Filter and list all
activities matching given condition and date range.
- Hyperlink throughout
program to appropriate candidate, client, or vacancy.
- Search “Planet
Recruit” for suitable candidates, with automatic download and
registration.
Candidate
Communications
- Record all
interactions (past and future) with candidate including calls, letters,
emails, and interviews.
- Create letters from
generic templates, either for one candidate or bulk mailing for a given
selection.
- Support for
maintaining regular contact by phone or email.
- Generate personalised
emails listing up to 5 relevant vacancies in bulk to candidates.
Clients
- Storage for: Client
Details, multiple contacts per client, vacancies, and activities (calls,
letters, emails etc), and interviews arranged.
- Search all clients
within a given region, industry type, consultant, company name, contact
name.
- Create and store
one-off letters, or bulk letter generation using Word templates.
- Support for
maintaining regular contact by phone or email.
- Tracking of terms-and
conditions acknowledgement.
- Filter and list all
activities matching given condition and date range.
Vacancies
- Store vacancy
details, skills (any number of “must have” or “nice to have” skills).
- Search all candidates
having skills and salary expectations matching these requirements.

- Record all activities
and interviews associated with a vacancy.
- Search database for
all suitable candidates with appropriate skills, locality, salary
expectation and availability. Ranked according to eligibility.
- Workflow assistance
to bulk-email suitable candidates, and only submit those replying to
email.
- Email replies and
rejections processed automatically from Outlook.
- Full note-taking
support against vacancy, and client.
- Vacancies uploaded to
own web site, or distributed to any Internet job board.
Interviews

candidate interviews including directions, and client/vacancy information.

Consultants
/ Teams
- Password controlled
access to program functionality. Database secured against unauthorised
copying.
- Consultants (unlike
managers) can only access their own clients.

interest by one consultant can be passed to other teams for consideration.

lists generated by receipt of new candidate details, interviews, and
cold-call schedules.

not require Microsoft Office on each machine
- High Performance
using either the license-free MSDE database, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Mass CV
document-search using Microsoft Search (Windows 2000 platform only).
